Come learn about the history of the Flash Media Server from a founding member of the engineering team at Macromedia. Hear about the latest developments in Flash Video and which are the most surprising in light of the project’s original vision.
Bio
Brad is co-inventor of RTMP (Flash’s real-time media streaming protocol) and father of the Actionscript Camera and Microphone objects.
As founder of Cleverfocus, a Silicon Valley software consulting firm, Brad brings 16 years of professional experience creating world-class, innovative software products. In 2004, Brad co-founded PlayFirst, a tier-1 venture-capital backed games company. As a board member and CTO, he helped grow PlayFirst into a leading publisher of casual games, and led a prolific engineering organization that produced PlayFirst.com and a portfolio of over 50 casual game titles – including the breakout hit franchise Diner Dash. Prior to PlayFirst, Brad was a Principal Engineer at Macromedia where he was a key architect on several of the company’s flagship products, including Flash Player, Flash Media Server, and Breeze Live (now Acrobat Connect). A frequent panelist and speaker at technology conferences, Brad holds twelve patents and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ray McClure – Flash Developer
MiniMash contracted super flash kid RayReadyRay to execute some of the challenging aspects of Flash Video.
Ray has an extensive background founding technology and working with the industry’s leading forces – Twitter, Odeo,
Yahoo – Brickhouse, EA. Ray is currently CEO of Secret Feature – a Flash development company
working with clients like Etsy and developing their own in-house apps.

hi claudia, it is working … just a bit odd as you can’t see your own RSVP post! threw me at first as well. i have you down as not being able to attend. is that right?
