Scott Petersen talks “Alchemy”
Adobe has developed a compiler, code-named Alchemy”, that takes C/C++ code and converts it to ActionScript bytecode usable in Flash CS4 Professional and Flex applications whether running in Adobe AIR or Flash Player.
Scott Petersen, the lead mastermind behind “Alchemy”, is coming on down to San Flashcisco (Nov 20th) to give us all a heads up on how we can take advantage of this new tech and what it means for the future of the Flash Platform.
