February Meeting Announced

After a successful introduction meeting to San Flashcisco, we are excited to bring you some informative, educational and fun presentations at the next meeting. The attendance, enthusiasm and participation at the first meeting was very good and we expect the 21st to be even better.

The february event will be themed around methods for creating and building Flash and will feature special guest speaker Luke Bayes, who shall be talking about his latest project, Sprouts.

For more information about the meet and Luke, click here.

Alex is still working on the group’s new site but our main objective for this next meeting was to have the ability for users to create a profile on the site and be able to RSVP for the upcoming events. That functionality is now available and I urge all of you to register and sign up to attend our next meeting.

We have heard a lot of buzz going around about a Flash users group and now that it’s here, let’s all do what we can to keep it going by spreading the word and making sure you participate in any way possible. If you would like to present at one of our meetings or want to know how you can contribute, please contact us at sanflashcisco@gmail.com.

I still can’t believe I missed the first meeting. I’ll be sure to make this one! Even though I’ve heard Luke talk about Sprouts before, it seems like there’s plenty more going on to keep things interesting.
